Lemon Bottle is marketed as a cosmetic “fat-dissolving” injectable for small areas such as the double chin, stomach, arms and back. It supposedly contains bromelain, lecithin and riboflavin.
Important facts:
It is not FDA-approved.
Reliable clinical evidence proving that it safely dissolves fat is lacking.
Swiss regulators tested some samples and reportedly couldn’t detect the ingredients listed on the packaging.
Possible complications include swelling, bruising, infection, abscesses, tissue damage/necrosis, scarring and uneven results.
It shouldn’t be injected at home or used as a general weight-loss treatment.
